This past week, I started working on slacks for the Gentleman part of Newsletter Freebie pattern (see the WIP of the Lady part of the pattern here), and I ran out of black halfway through the second pant leg (not fun when that happens). So, I started playing around with top ideas for Ken, and came up with these...

The Pretty in Pink crochet pattern is finally here!
I still have some things to do before the video tutorials will be ready, but I decided that I would add them in later... Update: Video Tutorial is Live! This free crochet pattern has everything you need to crochet serval sweet outfits for children fashion dolls like Kelly in no time at all. Plus, since the Chelsea doll is only a little bit taller than Kelly, all you have to do is increase the lengths (how many rows you do) of the tops, dresses, etc., and you'll have pretty outfits for her too! The following directions include instructions on how to crochet dressy dresses, simple dresses, dressy skirts, simple skirts and pants. Both kinds of dresses have a couple top variations, plus several dress lengths. Both kinds of skirts also have several lengths, and the pants have capri and shorts variations. A PDF Version of this pattern is available, and you can add this to your ravelry queues and favourites here or below too... At last, I have finished enough outfits to give you all a preview of my newest free pattern - Pretty in Pink! I have been working on this over the last few days just especially for you. This pattern will include directions to crochet two types of dresses - each with top variations and several dress lengths, two skirt variations that mimic the dress variations, and pants with capri and shorts variations. All of which can be pictured to the left... A few of the tops and dresses have been done more than once to go with all the skirts and pants for a total of 16 outfits. The dress variations form a backwards "L" in the picture with the 4 dressy dresses in the vertical line to the right, the 3 simple dresses in the horizontal line on the bottom, and Kelly modeling the original dressy dress up top. Then, the first row of tops are paired with the pant variations, the second row of tops are paired with the simple skirts, and the third are paired with the dressy skirts. About half of the tops are dressy variations and the other half are simple variations...
As you all know, I have been crocheting Christmasy things. I have already designed two crochet snowmen patterns, and now I have finished designing Elves Kelly & Tommy and a Mrs. Barbie Claus of which I am working on turning into patterns to be published by the end this week. I am also working on finishing the design for Mr. Santa Ken Claus. Since I still have to finish designing the coat and bag of presents, I don't think I will have the pattern for him ready in time for my Thanksgiving Sale. He should be ready for next week for sure, but I will make him available as a Pre-Order so you all can take full advantage of the sale.

Welcome to the second part of three for Crochet Toys for Kelly. In this blog post, you will find the crochet patterns for Kelly's amigurumi dolly and her dolly's crochet dress.
This fun dolly has rag doll hands, and is super cute! She can easily be crocheted in a few hours (less if you are a fast crocheter). She is a jumbo dolly for Kelly, but Kelly loves her all the same. Continue reading for the free crochet patterns...
Welcome to the first part of three for Crochet Toys for Kelly. In this blog post, you will find the crochet patterns for Kelly's crochet teddy bear, and Kelly's crochet ball.
The teddy's body and the ball use the exact same stitches. This teddy can be crocheted in just a few hours (less if you are fast), and he is just the perfect size for cuddles with Kelly! The ball can easily be crocheted in just a few minutes, and would be so much fun to make in a rainbow of colours. Kelly just loves snuggling with her teddy bear, and playing with her ball! So, continue reading for the patterns... |
