Skill Level Descriptions
for Crochet Patterns by Rebeckah's Treasures

These skill levels are just a guideline.  Don't let the difficultly level deter you from trying a crochet pattern you really love because support is always available to you from Rebeckah, regardless of whether that pattern is free on the blog, or one you purchased through the store.

Please Note: The majority of my patterns are worked with cotton thread size 10 and steel crochet hooks.  Therefore, these skill levels assume that you are comfortable or accustomed to crocheting with thread and smaller hooks.  Otherwise, these follow the standard crochet skill levels by Yarn Council. 
If you're new to crochet, these projects are a great place to start!
These patterns use only basic stitches, and minimal shaping.
If you're looking for a relaxing project, these are just what you need!
These patterns are very repetitive.  They use basic stitches, simple colour changes, simple shaping, and simple finishings.  
If you're looking for something new to try, these projects are just for you!
These patterns use a variety of crochet techniques, whilst staying repetitive and simple to follow.  You'll see a higher level of colour changing and shaping.  Plus, learn some new stitches too.
If you're looking for something more intricate, then try your hand at these projects!
These patterns use more intricate stitch patterns and techniques. Plus, more eloquent shaping and finishings.  You'll see some non-repetitive patterns, and the use of multiple colours.
