This past week, I started working on slacks for the Gentleman part of Newsletter Freebie pattern (see the WIP of the Lady part of the pattern here), and I ran out of black halfway through the second pant leg (not fun when that happens). So, I started playing around with top ideas for Ken, and came up with these... Only the first top will be part of the newsletter freebie pattern, but the short and long sleeves, vest and tie will be part of a future pattern idea I am working on for Ken (Male Fashion Dolls).
Each top still needs "buttons" and snaps, and I want to do a bow tie for the first one. I need to get more supplies to finish the newsletter freebie pattern, so I started working on a sweater idea I had, and that's when I noticed that without sleeves (which I still need to make), it makes the perfect Harvard-type vest to go over the shirt! I've got so many ideas for Ken. I can't wait to execute them all and share with you. It always gives me great pleasure to hear from you! So, let me know what you think below...
