Monkey Muzzle Instructions:

Make 1

*Use AC...

   rnd 1:  sc 6 into a magic circle (6 sts)
   rnd 2:  [sc 3 in next st, sc 2] x 2 (10 sts)
   rnd 3:  sc 2, sc 3 in next st, sc 4, sc 3 in next st, sc 2 (14 sts)
   rnd 4:  [sc 2, (sc 3 in next st) x 2, sc 3] x 2 (22 sts)
   rnd 5:  [sc 4, sc 2 in next st, sc 6] x 2 (24 sts)
   rnd 6:  sc 24 in FL
   rnd 7-9:  sc 24 for 3 rows, sl st join to first st of rnd, f/o (if you will be sewing muzzle onto the head, f/o with a long tail)

St sps #9-#16 of the last rnd are the top 8 sts of the muzzle. Keeping this in mind, embroider a mouth onto the bottom half of the muzzle.
