Design Your Own Tapestry Crochet Shoulder Bag Patterns

Now you can design your very own tapestry crochet bag like the ones pictured above with my new pattern and specially modified graph.  I have listed some tapestry crochet resources below for those of you who are not familiar with this technique.  Also, below are links to my patterns for the bags you see above you.  Plus, the PDF version of this pattern can be downloaded below, along with a jpeg version of the graph.

Tapestry Crochet Resources:

First link is an extremely help PDF that can be downloaded.  It shows basic techniques for work tapestry crochet in the round for both right and left handed users.  Although it doesn't show how to crochet flat pieces like what is needed for this project, it is still great for learning the basic principals.

Carol Ventura, the owner of this website, has so many helpful tips on her blog and a few other types of patterns to get you on your way.  She is also the original designer of the tapestry crochet graph paper.  It is thanks to her that I was able to share this version with you.

The final link I will share is a video tutorial to help you to know how to crochet flat piece better so they look the same as in the round.  The only thing this video doesn't show is how to carry the yarn, however, it is very easy to hold the yarn under your stitches as you work.
