Store Update, Shop Series & Loyalty Program

As many of you are aware, Rebeckah's Treasures has been growing, and I've had to make a few changes to make things easier to manage.  

Most of these changes have been around updating my crochet pattern store, but you'll also see I've added share buttons to the blog to make it easier for you to share what you like here.  

All these changes and updates have also made it possible for me to provide you with more deals, and has opened up the doors for a new program I think you will all love.

Shop Updates:

I learned quite a bit more about HTML and CSS code last month, which has enabled me to make some improvements to my shop's look and the way I can run promotions.  

These include:

• Grouping products into blocks with a border so it is easier to see what's what... (you can see this demoed in the "Top of a Category Page" picture to the right and also under the title "You May Also Enjoy These Crochet Patterns").
  
• Adding comment boxes and star-reviews, so now you can easily tell me what you think of my patterns (when you've got a spare moment, I would really appreciate your taking the time to write a review for any pattern of mine you've crocheted).
• Easy share buttons, so you cant share what you love with one click!
• A really nifty return button, so you can go back to the previous page you were on.
• A new footer, so you can easily find whatever info you're looking for. 
  

I also created pages for all my free patterns, since now any with 2 pages or more will incur a small fee for the pdf version.  For the ones that will also be free as pdf's, it is easier just to have the download buttons in one place for if/when I make a new update to them.  *All free patterns published on the blog will remain free there always, plus, there will be many opportunities to get the pdf's for free.  More on that in a bit...

I've still got a few things left to do, okay maybe a lot more than a few, but I hope that these new changes make things easier for you and that you like them as much as I do!

Shop Series & Poll:

Speaking about my shop updates and all the new things I've learned about HTML and CSS... I am planning to share everything I have learned recently with you come the new year.

I am devising a Shop Series, so you can create a beautiful shop for your website too, and I would love to know how many of you are interested in this...

Weebly is my website platform, so I will be using it for the tutorials, but since most of these tutorials will be based around HTML and CSS, you should be able to use them with whatever platform you use.

It will include:

• Creating Your Own Shop and Social Buttons with PicMonkey
  
• Creating Product Blocks with HTML
• Tweaking some Codes so you can Sync your Shop to Ravelry 
• How to Use Your Own Buttons instead of Paypal's if you sell items other than patterns
• Links to the tutorials I used to add my Comment Boxes and Star-Rating Systems
• And Much More!

Loyalty Program:

Now that the pdf's of many of my free patterns will be priced at $1.50, I started thinking about something special I could do for you, and that's when the idea to start a loyalty program came.
