Pumpkin Madness for the Designer's Potpourri CAL 2016

It's October, Autumn is in the air, and it's my turn at last to bring you free crochet patterns for the Designer's Potpourri CAL 2016! Here's a little preview of what's to come this month for you...

I love making accessories and dolly clothes, probably because they work up so quickly and are usually rather adorable. And I can't get enough of sweet little things!

Last month, I was hit by a wave of pumpkin madness and designed EIGHT pumpkin patterns. You can see them all on my Instagram channel here or by searching for @beckastreasures.

I am saving four patterns for next year, but these are the four pumpkins you'll be getting now!

Autumn Delights Pumpkin Coaster

Sizing - Flexible
Yarn Weight  / Hook Size - Flexible

This pumpkin coaster is originally worked in cotton thread size 10, using a 1.05mm or 1.10mm (11 or 12 US / 6 or 6½ UK) hook, and is appropriately 5.5" (14 cm) wide by 5.75" (14.5 cm) tall.

That said, you can easily turn this into a placemat or wall hanging of 12" (30 cm) tall/wide by switching to a WW (4:medium / 10 ply UK) yarn and using a 3.75mm (F/5) hook!

If following the thread option to make a coaster, you'll need:

• about - 70m (76.5yd) in orange
• less than - 10m (11yd) in green

​If following the yarn option to make a placemat or a wall hanging, you'll need:

• about - 140m (153yd) in orange
• less than - 20m (22yd) in green

Thick Harvest Pumpkin Mug Cozy

Keep your drinks nice and warm and project your hands from the heat with this awesome fall inspired mug cozy!

Sizing - Fits a STANDARD 8oz (240ml) mug.
Yarn Weight - Sport (2:fine / 5ply UK) Yarn.
Hook Size - 3.75mm

You'll need:

• about - 60m (65.5yd) in orange
• less than - 20m (22yd) in green​

Pumpkin Treats Coin Purse

Sizing - Flexible
Yarn Weight  / Hook Size - Flexible

This pumpkin coin purse is originally worked in cotton thread size 10, using a 1.05mm or 1.10mm (11 or 12 US / 6 or 6½ UK) hook, and is approximately 3.25” (8.5 cm) in diameter, folded into a flat circle.

That said, you can easily turn this into a larger drawstring purse by switching to a thicker yarn weight like WW (4:medium / 10 ply UK) or Sport (2:fine / 5ply UK), and of course, you'll need to use a larger hook too like a 3.75mm (F/5) or a 4.00mm (G/6)!

If following the thread option to make a coin purse, you'll need:

• about - 65m (71yd) in orange
• less than - 10m (11yd) in green

​If following the yarn option to make a large drawstring purse, you'll need:

• about - 130m (142yd) in orange
• less than - 20m (22yd) in green

Little girls will scream with delight to see their little fashion dolls in this adorable pumpkin cutie outfit!

Sizing - Fits the 4.5" Kelly doll by Mattel.
Yarn Weight - Cotton Thread Size 10.
Hook Size - 1.05mm l Alternatively a 1.10mm (11 or 12 US / 6 or 6½ UK) hook works too!

• less than - 10m (11yd) in green​
