How many WIP Tutorial Pics did I take this weekend?

If you have been following me on Facebook and my brand new Instagram account, you'll know that this weekend, I have been working on photo tutorials for a Lion, a Monkey, a Turtle and a Fish.

I don't know about you, but one of my least favourite parts of making amigurumi animals and softies is the endless pieces to sew together after all the crocheting is done.  First, you have to calculate where you want to attach all the limbs, ears, eyes, etc - not always an easy task.  Then, the time it takes to do the sewing is insane!

So, for the first of the 3 animals above, I took countless photos to demo how to attach the limbs as you crochet the body and the head.  This way the only sewing that will need doing is for joining the head to the body!  How awesome is that?

I also needed some tutorial pics for my Flounder Fish, which will be part of my "Under the Sea Mermaid" collection I am working to have finished this year.

The top half of the photo above is how far I got on Saturday, and the bottom half is how far I got today (Sunday).

As you can see I am not finished taking pics as I still have to do the Monkey's Head, and finish the Lion's Mane, so that he no longer looks like a bear.  The turtle will remain headless for now as he is the second one I did this week.  Pictures for his head and shell was done last week, but I never took pictures of the body.  As for Flounder, he still needs his dorsal fins, top fins and for me to attach the stripes.  Going to be another busy week for me.
