From the survey, the mermaids and wedding accessories are the top patterns you want next.
With Sharon needing the wedding accessories ASAP, I have started on getting those ready for you all first. So far, I've completed several headpieces - each can either be used alone as is, or can be used as a base for the veil, AND several flower appliques (those are for another post).
Now I would love your help in naming all or any of the crowns, tiaras and headbands...
All of the crowns are crocheted and can also be worn inverted - which would look really great with some of the veils. Crowns #1 and #3 are very similar and use picot stitches. #1 has 12 repeats of the picots, and #2 has them repeated 9 times. Crown #3 uses a shell stitch with the center dc being replaced with a tr, and Crown #4 uses the double V-stitch. These are highlighted in beige above...
Half of the headbands and tiaras, are crocheted, whilst the remaining half are worked with beads and wire. Each headband and tiara can either be worn as headbands - like the crochet tiaras pictured above, or as crowns - like the beaded tiaras pictured. Headbands are pictured both ways... Tiaras #7 and #9 use a picot stitches with 5 picots each. Tiara #11 uses a shell stitch with the center dc being replaced with a tr like Crown #3. The headbands are highlighted in tan above, and the tiaras are highlighted in purple...
All crocheted headpieces can be worked with or without beads. Only tiara #7 is shown crocheted with beads.
All the FREE accessory patterns will be coming in June just as soon as I can make video tutorials of them. The patterns will be broken down into 5 parts or separate posts.
Tell me which option you prefer in the Poll above to the right...
