Without further ado, let me introduce you to this week's Friday Feature...

Marie Segares from Underground Crafter

Marie has been crocheting since 1984 and knitting since 2010. She loves crocheting/knitting because she loves making things with her hands, meeting new people, and being able to share beautiful things with her loved ones.

When asked what her most favourite yarn/thread to work with is, she responded, "Hmmm, that is so tough! I am a yarn lover so it is very hard to pick just one. I do work with medium (worsted) weight yarns the most, probably because I live in an area that gets relatively cold in the winter and because it's the weight I used for 20 years before I discovered anything else!"

Marie is a big Star Wars fan. She says, her "favourite character is Chewbacca". When she's not crocheting/knitting, she loves to bake and cook. Additionally, she says, "I recently had my sewing machine tuned up after it was dormant for a few years and I hope to get back to quilting."
