Without further ado, let me introduce you to this week's Friday Feature...

Dana Draves of Dana Dee Crochet

Dana has been crocheting for nearly 40 years. She says, "I started young ;-)"

When asked what she loves the most about crocheting, she responded thus, "I love so much about crocheting! I love the feel of the yarn. I love taking a lovely skein of yarn and turning into something beautiful and useful. I love designing fun blankets that make people smile most of all!"

Her most favourite yarn to work with is Lion Brand Homespun Thick & Quick yarn. She says, "It's so soft and perfect for my alligator blanket!" When she's designing a new blanket her go-to yarn is "I Love This Yarn" by Hobby Lobby because it's soft, and available in so many gorgeous colors.

Her favourite movie is Austenland. She adds, "It's a quirky movie poking a bit of fun at the Jane Austen novels, which I also love, by the way!"

When she's not crocheting, she's homeschooling her two boys, watching Marvel Movies (especially Captain America!), traveling to visit her adult kids, cooking, taking pictures and eating!
