Fall into Christmas Birthday Crochet Contest 2015

November is my birthday month, yay (picture above gives you a hint to which day is mine)!

​This year instead of a giveaway, which is always fun, I thought we could do something much more exciting and have a fan crochet contest.

You will get to share crochet projects you have made since I shared my first patterns back in 2013 and win prizes along the way from yours truly and some of my crochet friends too!

How this Contest will work:
​
First, you submit your crochet projects into one of three categories - Treasured Designs (projects you crocheted from a Rebeckah's Treasures pattern), Inspired Designs (projects you crocheted from another designer's pattern) and Unique Designs (projects you crocheted from your own imagination).

Next, you, your friends, your family and others will get to vote daily for your favourite projects in each or any of the categories. *Depending on the number of project entries, each of the three categories may be divided into smaller categories for more winners.

Finally, winners from each category will be chosen from your votes to receive several amazing crochet related prizes!

Prizes:

Everyone who submits a project made from a Rebeckah's Treasures crochet pattern (free or pay) will receive a free crochet pattern from my shop as a Christmas present once the winners of the contest have been announced. Submit more than one project from my designs and you just might get two or more free crochet patterns!

Each winner of the contest will be receiving several free crochet patterns from Rebeckah's Treasures which they can redeem right away and/or save for new pattern releases.

In addition to this, Cylinda of Crochet Memories, Joanita of Creative Crochet Workshop and Sheri of The Country Willow have agreed to donate prizes to winners of the contest too.

Update: Rhondda of Oombawka Design, Marie of Underground Crafter and Deborah of Designs from Grammy's Heart will also be donating prizes to winners.

Timeline of this Contest (I observe Eastern Standard Time):

• Project Submissions will run for a total of five weeks starting on Sunday, November 1st, 2015 and lasting through to the early morning of Sunday, December 6th, 2015.
• Fan Voting will run for a total of two weeks starting on Monday, December 7th, 2015 and lasting through to the end of Monday, December 21st, 2015.
• Winners will be announced and contacted by me on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015.
• Prizes will be sent within 72 hours of the contest close - just in time for Christmas!

Rules and Project Entry Guidelines:

• This contest is open worldwide to persons at least 18 years or older.
• No purchase is necessary to enter this contest.
• You may submit up to 3 (three) unique crochet projects - they must be your own work, they must be crochet and they must have been completed between 2013 until now.
• One project entry can be a set or an individual item.
• Please submit a square photo of your work and make sure that the best features of the project can be seen. The better you display your project in the photo, the higher your chance of getting more votes will be. Get tips here for getting a good square photo!
• Please submit your project(s) into the appropriate category below - You may submit one project in each category, submit three projects in only one category or divvy up your three projects as you see fit.
