Fall into Christmas 2016 - VOTE for Your Faves!

Submissions for the Fall into Christmas Crochet Contest 2016 are OVER! Now it's time to vote for the 188 entries (81 contestants), which have been split into 3 voting categories. Let the voting begin...

What are the Voting Categories?

There are THREE voting categories. These are TOY, STYLE and REST.

TOY - This category contains entries for amigurumi plushies, dolls, softies and other playful creations. 

STYLE - This category contains entries for all things fashionable to wear (people, dolls & pets) and to decorate your home (table runners / settings, mandalas, doilies & more). Plus, all things fancy!

REST - This category contains entries for all the lovely things to get you cozy for resting, including, blankets / afghans, pillows, loveys and even a rug.

Each category has a mixture of entries that were either inspired by a crochet pattern or a unique creation of the contestant. Each entry has a badge with it's voting category and sub-category that tells you how the project was created.

Here's what the sub-categories mean:

• TREASURED - means the contestant used one of Rebeckah's Treasures' crochet patterns.
• INSPIRED - means the contestant used a crochet pattern for her project entry.
• UNIQUE - means contestant used her imagination or drastically modified a pattern for her entry.

How to Vote for your Favourite Entries:

Each category has its own separate voting page, each completing for their own set of prizes.

With so many outstanding entries, I know just how hard it will be to pick favourites. This is why anyone and everyone may vote 5 TIMES per DAY in EACH category.

YES, you read that right. Cast up to 15 votes every day until Monday, December 19th, 2016!

Firstly, go to the voting page for ANY category. Once there, follow the blue instructions..

1) CHECK the box in the bottom-left corner of favourite entry to select it.
2) CLICK on VOTE (found below all the entries - scroll to the bottom) to cast your vote. 
3) Hit the BACK arrow of your browser to return to the poll to vote again. 
4) Repeat steps 1-3 to vote for the same entry again, or check multiple entries to vote for 2-5 at once! 
5) Go cast your votes into the other two categories.

*Voting closes on Monday, December 19th, 2016 at 11:30 p.m. EST (eastern standard time).

**NOTE: polls randomize their entry orders every time the page is reloaded.

Tell us the Official Prizes Please!

Hip hurrah, now I finally get to reveal how many winners there will be and what they will win!!!

There will be THREE winners in EACH voting category for a total of NINE winners.

I have split up the prizes so each first place winner will receive roughly 50 free crochet patterns from 19 designers, each second place winner will receive 26 patterns from 11 designers and each third place winner will receive 15 patterns from 7 designers.

AWESOME SAUCE!!!

*Only ONE prize per contestant. Contestant will receive the prize allotted for their entry in the category with the most votes. This means if you win first prize in one category and third prize in another, you will receive the first place prize and your third place prize will fall to the next contestant.

But WAIT, there's more...

Red Heart's incredible $50 - yarn package will be awarded to ONE contestant (residing in the USA, Canada or Mexico) with the highest cumulative votes between each of her entries!

Plus, TWO contestants, also with the highest cumulative votes between each of their entries, will be eligible for the Dragonfly Dutchess prize of $5 towards 3-5 enamel / metal crochet stitch markers.

These 3 BONUS prizes will go to ANY eligible contestant, regardless if they won a first, second or third prize as mentioned above. YAY!

Important Note (for American, Canadian & Mexican contestants only): If you want to make sure you win the Red Heart yarn pack, check your emails on Sunday, December 18th to see if you are in the running.
