Crochet Toys for Kelly ~ Intro

In the middle of August, I was thinking about what my next free pattern for September should be, when I had the sudden inspiration to make tiny crochet toys just for the little Kelly doll.  

I think this is perfect because I was wanting to make an amigurumi pattern as my next free pattern, but I really love making things for barbies, and I know many of my fans enjoy my barbie patterns as well.  

So, I asked my fans from facebook what they thought of the idea, and they loved it, so I am sure you will too!

The plan is to release the patterns in three parts.  Each part will be published over the next three consecutive Thursdays.  Starting with Kelly's Amigurumi Teddy Bear & Ball the first week.  Followed by Kelly's Amigurumi Dolly on the second week, and finishing up with Kelly's Crochet ABC Blocks on the third/final week.  Once the final pattern of Kelly's Toys has been published, I will add a PDF of all the Crochet Toys for Kelly to be downloaded from each of the parts as well as here.

Kelly's Teddy Bear

On Thursday, September 26th you will get the patterns for Kelly's Amigurumi Teddy and Ball.  The ball uses the same pattern as the Teddy's body.

This little guy is about 4.5 cm (1.75") Tall, and can be crocheted in just a few hours.  He is just the perfect size for Kelly to hold him, and he is super cute!  Kelly and I absolutely adore him.

Kelly's Dolly

On Thursday, October 3rd you will get the pattern for Kelly's Amigurumi Dolly.  

This little dolly is about 7 cm (2.75") tall, and can also be crocheted in just a few hours.  She is the perfect size for an oversized doll for Kelly.  She is a little bit bigger than I was intending to make her, but I wanted her to have a thumb.  I can't tell you how pleased I was when I finished crocheting her, and you can see how pleased Kelly is with her dolly too!

Kelly's ABC Blocks

On Thursday, October 10th you will get the patterns for Kelly's Crochet ABC Blocks.  

These little blocks are 1.25 cm (0.5") tall, and can be crocheted really quickly.  They make for a perfect learning tool for Kelly!  I just love how tiny they are.
