Crochet Brides & Bridesmaid 5 Dress Previews

I have been a busy bee this past week!  Four dress ideas are finished for my new pattern coming up, and a 5th is underway.  I have to start off by noting that I am really impressed with how quickly I have been crocheting these dresses.  Though, I must say that this will be a bonus for the pattern because let's face it, who doesn't love a crochet project that works quickly?

Their names tell you the neckline and dress type.

First we have a stunning Queen Anne Mermaid Wedding Dress - the perfect style to show off Barbie's fabulous curves!  

Next to it, you can see both front and back views of the Illusion Fishtail Wedding Dress.  The Fishtail is quite similar to the Mermaid; the only difference being that it has a extra, triangular portion in the back that creates gorgeous a tail.

Below, you can see a sophisticated red, off-the-shoulder, Sweetheart Capped-Sleeves Cocktail Dress.  Like the wedding dresses, this also shows off her curves.

Next, we have a Little Black Dress with a V-Neckline -  Barbie's go-to for date night! ...

Lastly, is an enchanting Asymmetrical WIP Dress, which is looking a lot like an ice-skating princess costume.  Not sure it if is the colour, or the neckline, but I love it!

As you can see, this pattern is not limited to barbie brides and bridesmaids dresses.  All sorts of fun, sophisticated formal and semi-formal dresses will be possible with this pattern.  In fact, there will be more than 200 potential combinations!

I am thinking that will all the different styles of dresses this pattern can make, it will be needing a brand new name.
