• crochet cotton thread size 10+/- (I used *Ciruculo Clea but you can use any brand you prefer) - about  25-50m (less than an oz) in black, and small amounts of purple, orange, and green
• 1.7mm hooks
• tapestry needle
• stitch marker, or safety pins

Buckle Instructions: Make 1

with green, ch 6

row 1:

dc in last 2 chs, f/o. weave in ends.

Hat Band Instructions: Make 1

with orange, ch 37 loosely,

rnd 1:

sc 36 over chs, ch 1, f/o with long tail

(36 st)

Weave band into buckle, and sew tightly but loosely onto the 2 rnds with 36 sts (rnd 20-21) of the hat. Tuck in ends
