I never envisioned it would turn out like this when I set out to crochet her. I am super pleased with how she turned out. It wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't for all of your lovely ideas. So thanks a million for being such great fans! This crochet barbie witch pattern is now available as a paid pattern in my store. The pattern includes written instructions for all of the pieces pictured above, and photo tutorials for certain stages. A combination of amigurumi and free style are used to create the crochet barbie witch set. Later this week, there will be a special offer for the pattern, and an exclusive special offer for my newsletter subscribers - details in tomorrow's newsletter... Barbie Modeling her Witch Costume & DressThis dress is crocheted freestyle for the most part. The sleeves are made first. Then, the dress is worked horizontally from top to the waist - incorporating the sleeves at the same time. After that, the skirt is worked vertically. Finally, finishing touches are added to the dress. Here you can see barbie modeling her witch costume. She is stoked for halloween! Doesn't see look like a model in these pics? Knickers & StockingsBarbie Witch's Knickers & Stockings is one piece, and it ties up in the back. The knicker part is worked first from the top down to the crotch, then down one leg, then down the second leg. The stocking part is worked directly onto the knickers. Witch Hat & HeelsWitch Broom
Barbie Witch's Black Crochet Kitty CatEvery witch needs a black kitty, right? That is just what I thought too, so, I designed this fully posable crochet cat. He is made using the crochet technique amigurumi, and is made posable by a pipe cleaner and a little bit of bendable wire. Not only is he super cute, he is so much fun to play with! This little guy is 5.75 cm (2.25") in length (not including tail), 4.5 cm (1.75") in height (whilst standing), and 1.25 cm (0.5") in width. Next month, he will be made into a separate pattern with his kitty friends from Crochet Barbie Kitty. Crochet Barbie Witch Flying About with KittyThis post wouldn't be complete if you didn't get to see pictures of her flying on her broom. So, here she is with kitty in tow. ~ Which view do you think is the best? ~ Buy this pattern now here: Crochet Barbie Witch Pattern Visit Rebeckah's Treasures' Crochet Pattern Store for more great crochet patterns, and Free PDF Crochet Patterns for my free crochet patterns.
