Ken Groom awaits his BrideThis dapper Ken groom has a snazzy tuxedo created with single crochet in alternating rows of front loop and back loop stitches. His jacket has pink accents to create the buttons, and his boutonniere is sewn into place. His pants use a snap fastener. His top is done with a combo of single crochet and slip stitches. His pink bow is sewn directly into place, and like the jacket, it also has pink buttons. His cummerbund is crocheted in back loops, and fastens in the back with a snap. Finally, his crocheted shoes complete his outfit. Groom's KittyWaiting with the groom is this fully posable barbie kitty (links to pattern in my store) with a pretty pink bow. Barbie's BridesmaidsNext, we have three stylish Barbie bridesmaids. Personally, I think the halter dress is perfect for the maid of honour, however, the one to get that privilege, will be completely up to Isabel. Each bridesmaid ensemble has a dress, a bouquet, a pair of panties and a pair of heels. The dresses are each crocheted in a similar fashion - the only difference is their necklines. Each one is a high-low dress (it is easier to see this in the side views below). Their panties are the same, but they each have a different style of heels. Their bouquets were created with craft flowers, flower tape, and bendable wire. Basically, I arranged the flowers, and wrapped them with the tape to hold them together. Next, I used bendable wire to make a way for her to hold her bouquet. Finally, I crocheted snuggly around the flowers. Here comes the Barbie BrideThis dashing Barbie bride has a strapless, a-line dress with a short train. Tulle has been sewn onto the skirt of the dress to help the dress keep its shape. It follows a similar pattern to the bridesmaids' outfits, and also fastens in the back. Her veil is attached to her tiara which was made using beads and bendable wire. A simple trim of single crochet and chains has been crocheted around the edge to give it a nice elegant look. Her necklace was also made with beads and bendable wire like the tiara, and clips into place. Her bouquet made just like the bridesmaid flowers, only hers has more flowers. Then, she has her crocheted heels and panties, and of course, her something-blue garters.
