Another stitch you will see frequently used in my crochet patterns is the cluster of 2. I use this stitch to create a decrease in the row without leaving room for any spaces before or after the decrease. This is one of the best ways to do a double crochet decrease. This stitch is a variation of the "Cluster Stitch" - where any combination of crochet stitches are worked together over several adjacent stitches to become 1. The cluster of 2 only works 2 double crochet stitches together over 2 adjacent stitches. This stitch is sometimes known as double crochet 2 together (dc2tog).
