3 Gorgeous Headbands for the Designer's Potpourri CAL 2016

​It's December, Christmas is in the air, and it's my turn again to bring you more free crochet patterns for the Designer's Potpourri CAL 2016! Here's a little preview of what's to come this month for you...

With Christmas right around the corner, I know many of you are looking for last-minute, easy-to-make, quick gifts for the holidays. So, to help you out, I've designed these 3 gorgeous headbands!

Each headband is FULLY adjustable both in width and length, so it can be crocheted just right for anyone and everyone. Plus, this adjustability makes it possible to use ANY thread or yarn in ANY weight / fiber type with ANY crochet hook!

What a great way to use up all those leftover bits of yarn!!!

Adjustable Shells Headband

The Adjustable Shells Headband uses the basic shell stitch pattern, which was the first 'fancy' stitch my momma taught me way back when I was a girl of 11!

I've always loved crocheting with this stitch pattern because it's absolutely gorgeous. So, I knew I had to design one headband using it too.

Crochet yours in one colour, or mix it up and crochet with 3 or more colours for a rainbow effect...

All you need is yarn/thread + a hook + a hairband!

Pebble Bobbles Headband

When, I was searching ideas for fun stitches to turn into headbands, I came across the pebble stitch.

​It uses a variation of the bobble stitch, which is another of my favourites!

I crocheted all of mine with variegated threads because I love how it adds a fun, colourful design throughout the headband. :D

All you need is yarn/thread + a hook + a hairband!

Criss Cross Diamonds Headband

The final headband, I'll be sharing with you, uses a crochet stitch I personally designed way back in 2013 when I was crocheting a baby outfit for my Auntie's first grandbaby.

I actually have TWO video tutorials for the Criss Cross Diamond Stitch, which I'm sure you'd love to check out.

This one will also include a few flowers and a butterfly that can be stitched right onto the headband!!!
