25 Years for Me + 2 Years for Rebeckah's Treasures!

Yippie for me, I'll be 25 next week and today Rebeckah's Treasures is 2 Years old!  

I hope you will all celebrate these awesome things with me, but first I've got so much to be thankful for this month, so I want to start there...  

Thank you heavenly father for bestowing me with all my gifts, talents and blessings, and for always being there even when I can't always see you.  Thank you mom for raising me to be the woman I am today, and for teaching me all sorts of neat skills and most importantly how to crochet.  Thank you to my love for always being so supportive and encouraging in all my endeavors, and thank you for all those special little things you do for me like bringing me yarn and chocolate.  Thank you to all my family and dear friends who show their support and love from afar.  And a ginormous thank you to all my readers, followers, fans and online friends for the immense support you have been giving me, and for helping Rebeckah's Treasures to get to where she is today.  Thank you for all your kind words, and for sharing your wonderful stories with me.  It means so much to me that you are all here today and that you are all enjoying Rebeckah's Treasures.

It is so amazing to me that Rebeckah's Treasures is 2 years old!  It feels like only yesterday I was starting her and designing this website.  Even so, many great things have happened in that time, and I've had such a jolly time doing it all.  

I think that maybe it feels like such a short time because I didn't start off as a crochet pattern designer - that only happened around 6 months later, and I didn't officially publish this website until 4 months after starting her.  

So, Rebeckah's Treasures actually has 3 milestone birthdays... her Conception Birthday - Today (this is when I started working on her), her Blog Birthday - March (this is when she went live), and her Pattern Birthday - May (this is when I started designing patterns to share).  

It's really hard to decide which one is the most official one, so I am looking at it this way... more birthdays/anniversaries = more FUN excuses to celebrate and be thankful!  I think we should all make excuses like that, don't you agree?
