Kelly & Tommy Elves
The first outfits I worked on were for Santa's little helpers. I crocheted one for Kelly, and then, I did one for Tommy. Aren't they just too cute for words!
The outfits have four articles of clothing, where each piece comes with a few variations so each set can be unique. They both have a hat and a pair of slippers. Kelly's one has a dress and candy striped stockings, whereas, Tommy's one has a top and a pair of pants.
Just for fun, I thought Santa's Elves needed some tools for their workshop, so I crocheted a mini hammer, screw driver, saw and a little case to hold it all in.
Mrs. Barbie Claus
Next up on the list was crocheting a Mrs. Claus outfit for Barbie. I didn't like her dress until I had completely finished it, and now I absolutely adore this set!
Mrs. Barbie Claus comes complete with her dress, hat, apron, boots, panties, oven mitts, gingerbread men cookies, festive plate & mug and a fun tray to carry it all.
I had thought about making her a wig, but that just didn't work out very well.
I am so pleased with her design!
Mr. Ken Claus (a.k.a. Santa Ken)
Last, but not in the least bit least, comes Santa Ken Claus. As you know he is still a WIP, but so far he is looking so very jolly!
So far his outfit includes a body suit, slacks with suspenders, boots, a beard and a hat. He will also have a jacket with a belt and his sack of presents.
I ran out of red yarn Saturday night. I haven't had a chance to pick up some more, but I should be able to get some today. All I have to do to finish him is crochet the sleeves for his coat and design the sack. Unless you think he is missing, or could do with something else still...?
Is there anything that either of these sets can use that I have missed? Let me know in the comments below...
